Boasting allumnae such as Janet Suzman, Donald Sutherland, Jim Broadbent and David Suchet this famous training college for some of our most famous actors has an external examination department which offers excellent qualifications. Indeed from 2008 Students passing any of the Academy’s National Qualifications Framework-accredited Level 3 exams will be able to claim between 20 and 90 UCAS points, comparable with their attainment to help towards University entry.

Sally was a member of the LAMDA examination board for some sixteen plus years until her retirement in 2004.

Exams & Classes

These exams are extensive ranging from Introductory Examinations for 5-7 year olds to Advanced Examinations for Teaching and Performance and cover all aspects of Speech & Drama with Reading, Public Speaking and Devised Performance.
